mitsubishi eclipse convertible 08 or mitsubishi eclipse non convertible 09 with sunroof? Question: hi! im going to be getting my first car next summer, and i was wondering what would be cooler, a used 08 eclipse spyder or a new 09 eclipse. obviously, the best choice would be an 09 eclipse spyder but thats too expensive, so do i get the used, slightly less cool convertible, or the new, cooler, non convertible? please state your experience and explanations of your opinions, thanks :) Answer: It just comes down to what you like? I have an 07 Spyder GT and I wouldn't consider it less cool than the coupe, I get a lot more compliments than my coupe friends. If you like the whole "open air" experience than go with the convertible. A sunroof isn't much more than having the windows down so it really depends on what you like. The 09 has a different front end and rear and slightly more HP if you're going with a GT so keep that in mind as well. Good luck, they're both awesome machines!!! |

sunroof bracket on 04 cooper convertible needs replaced Only 39000mls and bmw say its not covered on warranty? Question: local bmw dealer say there is no 4yr or 50000 ml warranty that they know of. Its £1000 plus labour to fix. Any advice welcomed Answer: I believe that the UK warranty is 3 years or 50k miles, rather than the 4 year/50k mile warranty in the USA. Irrespective, it's whichever comes first. Even though your car has fewer than 50k miles, if it's been in service for more than the time period of the warranty, then it's out of warranty coverage. Since your car is an '04, it's likely out of warranty. With that said, you do have choices. You can call Mini and explain the situation, and request service assistance, since the car is recently out of warranty, and it has low miles. If you've been a good Mini service customer, and have a FSH for the car that will probably help. You can also take the car to a Mini specialist, who will probably be more reasonably priced than the dealer. I'd start by calling Mini, and if you have no luck (they have no obligation to help), then find a good Mini independent. I suggest checking out one of the UK Mini forums to get a recommendation, based on where you live. |

If your not sold on the convertible I would go with the sunroof or T-tops! T-tops are the best but you cant really find them anymore. |
